Obituary of Philip Albert Randazzo

Randazzo, Philip Albert, who was often known as Al, died peacefully at home overlooking Sag Harbor, on June 1, 2016, while surrounded by his loving family. On June 1, the world lost a great artisan and storyteller whose beautiful stonework remains as widespread monuments to his skill and artistry. His family and friends joyfully recall a life of laughter, fishing, dancing, serenades, pancakes, and the quiet strength of a man whose word and handshake were characteristic of his honorable life. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Evelyn, he is survived by his devoted companion, Barbara Rollins, his children, Steven, Sharon, Sheryl and Ralph (Fred), and his loving grandchildren, Kala, Farinn, and Ruby Evelyn. His family, siblings, nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues and neighbors will miss his sparkling eyes and his steadfast reminder that anything is possible with perseverance.
