My dad, John, loved his sister dearly and always felt the closest to her. Dad is not able to attend the funeral so my sister Becky and I decided to attend on his behalf. The John Buchanan family lived mostly in the western part of the United States but dad did take us to Lelia Ruth's 90th birthday celebration and I was fortunate enough to visit Alice a few years ago with dad. I enjoyed getting to know her a bit more and witness the closeness those two shared. Even though this is a sad occasion we look forward to visiting with family-
