Eileen F. Karter passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024 with Family and Friends by her side. Eileen was born in Brooklyn to Anthony and Alice Karter. After High School, Eileen started her career at the Bell Telephone Company where she worked as a Manager and retired after working 35 years (where she had Perfect Attendance, never called in Sick one day!) She enjoyed Traveling, Skiing and Boating. Her favorite place to visit was St. Maarten where she had a timeshare and visited for almost 50 years. She loved skiing and had many adventures skiing all over the Northeast and out West. Her favorite place to ski was Park City, Utah. She also loved her traditional Christmastime trips to NYC with her sister and nieces going to see Broadway shows and trying different restaurants for over 45 Years. Eileen is survived by her sister Lynn Haffer, Niece Jill Monaco and her husband Kevin, Niece Ginger Coffey and her husband Brian, Great Nephew and Nieces Brandon, Danielle, Jack, Sean and Kaitlyn. She has many, many wonderful friends who have become Family. Eileen’s passion for Family, Friends and Life will be missed.
