Dear LiPetri family .... Bob called me soon after my Mom's passing in August this year. So very kind of him to make the effort. I'd resolved to get back with him, and that was a couple of weeks ago. Too late, of course. So kind of him to show up at my Dad's funeral mass in Valley Stream in January 2016. Before that I met him at Aunt Rose Piazza's funeral in 2008. There, he reinforced the idea to me of teaching statistics in community college, which I did,and which led to a wonderful 8 years of part-time "retirement" work., We are related how? Through Santo Bondi` and Luigia Li Petri of Menfi, who were married, I believe, in 1924 here in the US. Bob was a cousin of my Dad. We are all better off for knowing Bob, and at a loss for losing him. Condolences and best wishes to family and friends. Charles J. Bondi

Our families were linked together when Denise and Christine started Per-School at St. Raphael's. We share many memories of those days. When I needed help, Bob got me a job teaching Summer School at Bryant High. Thanks Bob!!!
