It is with great sadness that I write in memory of Frank. Frankie, as I knew him growing up in the 60's was my best friend. We had the best of times from age of 12 through high school. Frankie and I went to baseball games at Shea and Yankee stadium, we went to the World's Fair together and spent summers playing softball and riding our bikes. We both joined the school band but neither one of us ever mastered playing any instrument well. He was loved by my family and I loved his family as well. I had been thinking of him more in recent times and hoped to visit him on my next trip to Long Island which I haven't visited much in recent years. Unfortunately it never came to be but we did at least talk on the phone and exchange email messages. I offer my condolences to his wife and children, who I never met, and his sister Nancy.
