If Bobby were a tree,
He would be an Oak Tree.
Standing tall and straight
Grounded and firm, always someone to lean on.
If Bobby were a rock,
he would be Granite.
Impressive and solid
His inner strength went way below the surface.
If Bobby were a bird,
He would be an Eagle.
Dedicated to his wife and daughter, always protecting and providing.
Strong, smart, steady
The voice of reason in chaotic situations.
Taking pride in his role as a Police Officer, treating everyone with respect, no matter if they deserved it or not.
A man of incredible integrity.
Bobby was there for us when we were going through the worst of times.
He will always be in our hearts…
God bless you… rest easy “Grossy”

I only have great memories of Rob. We sat next to each other in Nassau Police Academy, and shared many memories fishing and boating. When I think of Rob, I picture him on the GradyWhite with a big grin and a fishing pole in hand. He always was happy to see you and only had good things to say. My condolences and prayers to all his family and friends. I will miss seeing him fishing by Kismet, or Ocean Bay Park, and seeing his smile when I pull up to say hi. Rest in Peace Grossie

Bob was one of the finest Police Officers I ever worked with in my over 36 years of being a Police Officer. I met Bob in the Seventh Precinct, Nassau County Police Dept, and I realized that he was an outstanding Officer. We got along very well, and then he was assigned to RMP 719, my resident sector car in South Massapequa. Bob was always courteous, polite, well mannered, common sense and always a well dressed and well groomed Police Officer, I am deeply saddened by his passing and will always remember him, Rest in peace my dear brother, thanks for all you gave, God Bless you and your family, Robert Spinicchia, NCPD,( Retired)

To the family of Robert Grossman, my sincere condolences. I worked with Bobby in the New York City Housing Police Department. I was in his squad. Bob was a good guy and always did the right thing. I will never forget him helping me out in a very big way one night. I will always be forever grateful for that. Rest in peace brother. Retired Police Officer Sean K Murtha NYPD.

Rest in peace Bob. One of the nicest people I have known. And the only one who could almost out fish Tom (as told by him)!
My thought and prayers are with Kathy, Kayliegh and your family. Love Carol
