Obituary

Harold “Harry” Vincent Dreyer passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Harold was born in Long Island City, NY on October 12, 1941 and was the second of three children born to Albert and Emma. Harold was predeceased by his brother Albert “Bunny” and his loving sister, Carole Goff (Francis) and his nephews, Francis and John. Harold is survived by his beloved wife Catherine “Kitty”, his children Brian (Leonora) and Janice (Ward), and his grandsons, David and Éamonn. Harold served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1966 where he was stationed on the USS Ticonderoga during the Vietnam War. He was in the auto parts business most of his career but dabbled in an Archway cookie route to switch things up for a few years. He worked hard his whole life and was always supportive to his family. He also acted as a second father to his nephews, Francis and John after their father tragically passed in an accident. His warm and kind demeanor will be greatly missed, especially his unique sense of humor.
