Obituary

On January 21st, 2023, Eileen A. O’Hara lost her life in a tragic accident. She was 78 years old. Eileen was a devoted mother of her six children, James, Christopher, Michael, Erin, Terrence and Patricia, loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, James, Jessica, Camryn, Reagan, Sydney, Amy, Meagan, Duke and CJ. Eileen loved children, which was a large part of why she chose to become a teacher aide to special needs children until she retired in 2020. Helping people, especially children, was her true joy in life. She spent her retirement enjoying her grandchildren and helping care for her youngest grandson, CJ. Eileen is predeceased by her husband, James, whom she was married to for 41 years, until James passed in 2011. While Eileen’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Eileen in a way that honors her spirit. Her family invites the community to join them for Eileen’s funeral mass at St. Joseph’s located in Babylon, NY on February 3rd at 10:30.
