Golden, Daniel J., of North Babylon, LI on December 31, 2016. Proud veteran of the United States Navy. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth J. Golden. Devoted father of William (Tina) Golden, Daniel (Frances) Golden Jr, Thomas (Ann) Golden, Elizabeth (the late Carl Schoelermann) Golden, Mary Ellen (the late Michael) Capone, James (April) Golden and Richard Golden. Adored grandfather of 11 grandchildren and cherished great grandfather of 14 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marty (Angela) Golden and Anne Golden. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy., (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Thursday 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, West Islip, LI. Interment to follow at Queen of All Saints Cemetery, Central Islip, LI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Daniel's loving memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visiting Wednesday 2:00PM until 4:30PM and 7:00PM until 9:30PM.
