William “Bill” Bell passed away peacefully on September 22, 2022 at the age of 89. He was born in the Bronx, NY on January 9, 1933. After leaving the Bronx, Bill and his family moved to Islip, NY, where he enjoyed boating in the Great South Bay. He then retired to Florida in the beautiful city of St. Augustine. His career spanned 20 years in the FDNY where he worked in Ladder 155. He served his country and retired from the National Guard. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen Bell (Steiniger), whom he adored and was joined in marriage for 63 years. Devoted father of four children, Michael (Shirley), Bill (Katie), Betty Anne (Michael) and Karen (Sergio). Cherished grandfather of Gary, Christine, Kevin, Julie Anne, Michael (Fabiana) and Bryan. Adored great grandfather of Dylan, Tyler, Zion and Gael. A memorial service will be held at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx. Cremation to be held privately.
