Loving mother of Kathleen Birone, Susan McLaughlin, Patricia McCluskey, Robert C. Phillips and Margaret Phillips. Dear mother in law to Frank Birone, Robert McCluskey and Katherine Phillips. Cherished grandmother (Nana) of Claire, Kathleen, Joseph, Robert T., Robert J., and Mary. Claire worked at the Provincial House of the Daughters of Wisdom for many years. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, East Islip, LI Wednesday 10:45 AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Claire’s loving memory to the Daughters of Wisdom, 385 Ocean Avenue, Islip, NY 11751. Visitation Tuesday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
