She always called me Sweetpea and I was always happy to see her. She was my auntie G :) and she was meant for the stage. Always belting out show tunes, every visit with her would make me sing and laugh. A great mother, wife, friend and sister, her relationship to her brother, my dad (Allen), was an inspiration. I loved how they would make each other laugh and their moments of cantankerousness reminded me of my own relationships with my siblings. She was a strong woman and I admired her strength, love and her chutzpah! Her light was always bright and can shine even brighter now from the house of God. I will always keep her light in my sight. May you rest in peace, power and love, my dear. Love, Sweetpea

Aunt Gloria was one of a kind. From her circle dance and singing that always had us in stitches, to her love and support and generosity throughout our lives, to her love - which she shared and taught to us all - of birds, plants the natural world, and God. Gloria never ever missed an important date in your life. There was always a well thought out gift, generally from her adventures in book shops or antique stores or yard sales, or her beloved ceramic collections, and a loving card, on time or early. She was best buddies with our Dad. They were tight. When he got really ill, which was often towards his end, she was there by his side through thick and thin, masked and gloved. She rode the many miles to be with us on Thanksgivings, giving us great laughter and joy, or to visit Dad in the hospital. She was a very beautiful and fashionable woman who cared about her appearance, something we always loved and admired and tried to emulate. The AGL Lindgren’s have a deep hole in our hearts with her loss. We miss you Sweet Pea (a term she affectionately called many of us). God bless you Aunt Gloria and I hope you are with our other loved ones at the second star to the right. Heartfelt love to our dear cousins and their spouses and children, Aunt Ruth, Uncle George, Aunt Sharon and all who knew and loved Gloria. [Chris Lindgren on behalf of AGL family.]

I was so sorry to learn of Gloria’s death. I want to send my condolences to all her family. We were neighbors on Brightside Avenue and then high school classmates. Gloria was always a very nice, pleasant and upbeat person. I remember we had many good laughs together. I last had contact with her at the beginning of this year and knew she was going through rough times. She obviously had a wonderful family who, I am sure, were a major comfort to her.
With sincerest sympathy, Marie Murphy
