Obituary

RINAUDO- Pasqualina “Patricia” of Bethpage, New York, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021, surrounded by her children. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank. Devoted mother to Lori Ann (Tom), Frank (Beth), Robert (Theone), and Linda (Maryanne). Cherished Nanny to her grandchildren; Lauren, Christian, Alexa, Keegan, Stephanie, Cameron, Nicole, Luke, Frank, and Maya. Adored Gigi to her great grandchildren; Henry and Emerson. Loving companion to Charles Cohn. Amazing aunt, and friend to all. Patricia’s love was endless and her passion for life was evident in everything she did. She was the sunshine in every room with her vivacious personality and taught us all to strive to be exactly who we were meant to be without apology. Patti was graceful, poised, and radiant. Patricia taught us about compassion and finding the good in others. She taught us about going out of the way for others because you never know what a person is going through. She taught us to always be humble and kind. She taught us about the importance of family, lessons we have all passed down to our own children. She was the best mother to her 4 children who she loved fiercely, and the most incredible Nanny to her 10 grandchildren. The last two years she cherished her role as Henry’s Gigi, who she adored. We are forever grateful that she was able to meet her namesake, Emerson Lena, who inherited her strength, and spunk. Patricia never let any grass grow under her feet, always playing bridge, out to lunch, and getting her nails done. She would always tell you exactly what she was thinking. She taught us all the importance of family, holidays and being together to laugh and eat good Italian food.

.

She taught us to be generous, how to be strong, that beauty has no age limit and most importantly how to hoard pasta. There was nobody who supported their family more than Patti, no matter how large it was. If there was an event she could attend, she was there in a heartbeat. The only thing that helps with the overwhelming sadness now is the knowledge that every game we play, every performance we are part of and every achievement we make, she will undoubtedly be in attendance from up above. She taught us how to love unconditionally, treat others with respect, always have each other’s back, enjoy life and constantly have fun! Patricia has left footprints on so many hearts. The family that she created will continue to carry her legacy and carry the memories of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, companion & friend for generations to come. Patti was truly one of a kind. She will be deeply missed.
