DeCanio- Albert T. of Central Islip, LI on May 19, 2016. Proud retired Suffolk County Detective. Beloved husband of Helen Tabacco and the late Joyce DeCanio. Devoted father of Mark, Gregory (Kimberly) and Patrick (Hilary). Loving stepfather of Robert (Marianna) Tabacco and Helen Dillon. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Jillian, Lauren, Arden, Alivia, Alanna and Brooke. Dear brother of Thomas. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, East Islip, LI on Monday at 9:45AM. Interment to follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, LI. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2:00PM until 4:00PM and 7:00PM until 9:00PM.
