Stegmeier, Edward M."Yogi", of Middle Island, LI, on November 2, 2016. Retired from Suffolk County DPW with over 30 years of dedicated service. Beloved husband of Carol Stegmeier. Cherished by Angela (Mike) Hurley and Joseph (Melissa) Spero. Devoted grandfather of Kaelin, Jake, Payton, Gianna and Sophia. Loving brother of Marie (Gary) Ruller, Ann (John) Lynn and the late Robert Stegmeier. Proud uncle of RJ, Jennifer, Michael, Thomas, Alex and Allison. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Words of Remembrance will be held at the Funeral Home Tuesday 8:00 PM. Cremation to be held privately. Visiting Tuesday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
