DAHL- Carl, 83, of Oakdale, LI and Kismet, LI, on March 12, 2021. Beloved husband of Terese. Devoted father of the late Carl Dahl III, Cathy and James Dahl. Loving stepfather of Christine (Gregg) Buckbinder, Terese Caputo, Robin (Jeff) Carpenter, Joseph (Debbie) R. Caputo, Jr., and Michelle (Richard) Feeley. Cherished grandfather to Judith, Carl IV, Kelsey, Morgan, Jennifer (Matthew), Nicole (Grant), Michael, Mackenzie, Joseph, Jeffrey, Nicholas, and Allison. Adored great grandfather of seven. Dear brother of the late Richard "Red" Dahl and Chris Dahl. Adored uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Carl was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who served from 1956 to 1961. He owned Lem-Dahl and Carl Dahl Appliance & Repair. Carl was a proud volunteer with the Great River and Kismet Fire Departments. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of S.S. Pkwy., exit 45W). Firematic Services with the Great River & Kismet Fire Departments will be held at the Funeral Home Sunday at 8:00 PM. Family & friends are invited to attend the interment at Emmanuel Cemetery, Great River, LI on Monday at 11:15 AM. Visiting Saturday 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Sunday 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
