Obituary of Bill Brown

William E. Brown, age 55, passed away peacefully on Friday October 28, 2016, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson, NY. He was born February 8, 1961, in Bay Shore, to Bill and Helen Brown. He was a 1979 graduate of Bay Shore High School. He pledged his life and undying love to Carolyn Sharkey on July 12, 2014, at Captain Bill’s of Bay Shore, LI. Bill lived life through the simplest of pleasures; chatting with family and friends, watching sports, listening to heavy metal music and walking on the beach. Bill had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way through laughter and music. He is survived by his love, Carolyn, his sons Andrew and Travis; brother, Ray; his sisters, Barbara Nahrwold and Kathleen Caronna; niece, Kim Zehring and nephew, Ale Caronna. Bill was also dearly loved by his Aunt Helen and Uncle John Yakobitis, Aunt Carol Hogan and many cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Bill touched are invited to Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Causeway). Interment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Bay Shore LI.
