Obituary

Fritzner “Ti Nene” Vincent was born on May 16, 1943 in Jérémie, Haiti. Little brother to Edit and Gerald. Big brother to Jean Holly, Jocelyne (Tijo), and Ednie (Nido). Fritzner loved his life in Haiti then came to the United States in 1969. Residing in New York until his retirement in 2008. During his time in New York, he was married in 1970; built a life and a family with his former wife Micheline. They had 3 children: Cindy, Alain, and Danielle. He began his career at Hart Specialties in the 1980’s as an optical warehouse facilities manager until his retirement. Fritz’s next major role was Grandpa to Logan and Ava. Fritz was the family photographer. He captured many of life’s joyful and sometimes most somber moments. Many people can attest that half of the family pictures they have was probably taken by Fritz. He took great pride in being the archive for most family occasions. In 2009 Fritz, enjoyed his new retired life in Palm Coast, Florida. He made many new friends and found new people and places to take pictures. He became increasingly active in organizations and groups that supported his beloved hometown of Jérémie. Fritzner was called home on October 7, 2020. He fought for 25 days in the hospital. He went to join his big brother Edit who was called home only 10 days earlier. We are sure they are enjoying a good game of dominoes. Fritz’s life was taken too soon but his impact will be reached for many more years to come. Always smile as you look at a photo you have of him or was taken by him. Know that capturing your moments brought him such joy and we hope it brings you the same joy!
