Obituary of Jane C. Turner

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Career Public Health Nurse.

Jane C Turner (nee Marinan) was born in Brooklyn New York and married her husband Robert J. Turner in 1953. The Turner family eventually settled in North Babylon in 1966. In the mid-1970s Jane decided to pursue a college degree at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, graduating in 1975 beginning her new career as a Registered Nurse. In 1982 she completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Adelphi University and began serving the people of Suffolk County as a Public Health Nurse. She retired from this career in 2002 to spend more time with her husband Bob who passed away in October 2006.

Jane is survived by her children Robert and his wife Josephine, Helene and her husband Christopher Dennerlein, and Christopher and his wife Debra, eleven grandchildren: Kimberly Kingston, Lindsey Tsourounis, Annemarie Turner, Elizabeth Toff, Ryan Dennerlein, Stephanie Turner, Jessica Turner, Haley Dennerlein, Melanie Turner, Sydney Dennerlein, and Matthew Turner, and four great grandchildren; Annabelle Kingston, Lucas Tsourounis, Joseph Kingston, and Zoey Tsourounis.

Jane was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grand-kids and truly loved being a Great Grandma for the past 5 years. She will be missed but remembered fondly as a wonderful Mom, Grandma, and Gigi.
