Ward, Catherine G., on October 28, 2018. A longtime resident of Babylon Village and Lindenhurst, NY and most recently of Poughkeepsie, NY. Lovingly known as Kak, she was a devoted wife and best friend of her husband, John F. Ward who passed in 2010. A lifelong member of St. Joseph's Parish where she married the love of her life Johnny. Loving mother of Tom and (Mary), Maryanne and (Bob), Eileen and (David), John and (Gail) and James. Cherished grandmother of Alison and (Todd), Lori and (Jason), David III and (Lori), Heather and (Josh), John Michael, Jennifer and (Steve), Brian, Zachary and Jake. Great grandmother of Audrey, Natalie, Grace, David IV, Lily Anne, and Jack. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile West of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Visiting Friday 2:00PM until 4:30PM and 7:00PM until 9:30PM. Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Saturday 10:00AM at St. Joseph's RC Church, Babylon, LI. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Babylon, LI.
