PROVIDENTI - Dolores G., of Islip, LI and Naples, FL, formerly of Valley Stream, LI, on August 23, 2018 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Joseph Providenti, with whom she shared 56 beautiful years of marriage. Devoted mother of Joseph & Teri Providenti, Joanne & Michael Devine, Diana & George Orefici and Debra & Anthony Drago. Cherished grandma of Nicole & Francesco, Danielle & Justin, Toni, Samantha, Nicholas, Marisa, Gabrielle, Michael, Melanie, Matthew and Daniel. Proud great grandma to Mason James. Dolores had a wonderful, selfless heart, always giving to others and inspiring all those around her. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, East Islip, LI on Monday at 9:45 AM. Entombment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, LI. Visiting Saturday 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
