The Great D.K.L.

1953-2018

Deborah K. Lynch, known to most as Debbie, Deb or D.K.L. was born to Tom and Margie Lynch on June 4^th, 1953. She was blessed with two big brothers Dennis and Wayne. A wild child of the 70’s she was known to those around the Brentwood area as the lady with an ice cream truck. Her friends and coworkers knew her as the woman who would go above and beyond. Someone they could call at any hour and talk about anything. A friend who you would laugh and cry with so many times that you would end up crying from laughing too hard. Debbie has four children, Thomas, Cara, Kathleen and Kristen as well as two granddaughters, Bella and Charleigh. There are not enough words to express how much she loved her babies. She was hands down the most lively, fun, and kind women in any room you put her in, but as for her role as a mother, she profoundly surpasses those adjectives, so much that words truly cannot even describe her. Her children are honored to be the four in this world that truly know the feeling of absolute, unconditional love.  Her children were her world. Deb taught her children to have a strong faith in the Lord and know that they are loved. Deb was devoted to her children. She provided so much love and support for all their needs. With all the chaos of a consistently full house and the daily demands of life, Debbie’s motto was “Peace be still.” Deb has two things, the biggest heart and a larger than life mouth. Her joyful spirit filled every room she entered. Her laugh was contagious. She didn’t care who was around, she always danced like no one was watching. She enjoyed each moment to the fullest. Debbie always cared for those around her 110%. She made sure to feed the squirrels, birds and all of God’s little critters. In her over twenty years as a RN she was hands on in thousands of deliveries including her granddaughters. Deb took countless people into her home and under her wing. Everyone who knew her can tell a funny or endearing story of a time they remember being with her, and that’s an understatement. She would want to you to share those stories and laughs with those around you. If you had the privilege of knowing Debbie and her big heart of Joy and laughter, please keep sharing those stories and keep the memories alive.  She was a legend, a presence, a source of strength for all those who hold her dearly.
