Obituary of John Montani

Montani, John, of West Babylon, LI, on July 3, 2018.  Beloved husband of Helen Montani.  Devoted father of John (Flo), Christine Montani, Rick (Sherry) Montani.  Cherished grandfather of  Caitlin, Matthew, John, Chase and Chelsea. Loving great grandfather of Rocco. Dear brother of Mary Viti, Luigi Montani and the late Michael Montani. John was retired from his job at JD Posillico after 45 years in the construction industry. Above all else John valued family and will be missed by all. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.).  A Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, West Babylon, LI on Saturday at 9:00AM.  Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in John’s loving memory to Community of Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Community Unity Almoner, 421 E. 155th Street, Bronx, NY 10455. Visiting Friday 2:00PM until 4:30PM and 7:00PM until 9:30PM.
