Leonard, Richard Robert of Kingston, NY, formerly of East Islip, LI on June 25, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Chrystyna Leonard. Devoted father of Catherine Leonard, Walter Macyk and the late Mark Macyk. Cherished Pop Pops of Mark, William and Michelle Macyk. Dear brother of Maureen Klecker, Juliette Relihan, Edward Leonard, Joan Trank, John Leonard and Ann Marie Savery. Fond father in law of Bill Shashaty and Irene Macyk. Proud retired New York City Police Officer. Richard also honorably served in the U.S. Navy. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 mile west of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). A Religious Service will be held at Holy Family Ukrainian Church, Lindenhurst, LI on Friday at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI.
