Obituary of Sebastian S. Caliendo

Caliendo, Sebastian S.- passed on August 19, 2017 in Fairport, NY. Born August 15, 1920 in Queens, NY. Beloved husband of the late Fannie Caliendo. Devoted father of Rose Marie (Leon) DeMaille, Sebastian Caliendo, Theresa (James) dePascale and Anne Marie (Michael) O’Connor. Cherished grandfather of thirteen and great grandfather of twenty four. Sebastian was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II where he earned a Bronze Star. He was an astute businessman and opened Saston Building Materials with his nephew Tony Gerrato in 1953. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Monday 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, West Babylon, LI. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. Visiting Sunday 2:00 PM until 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
