Ann Sforza, 90, of West Islip, N.Y. entered into eternal life on May 20th 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn N.Y.

Born and raised in Staten Island, Ann was one of seven children in a close knit Italian family.  She told many stories of her life growing up in Staten Island in a large immigrant family.
Educated in public schools, she won many awards for her talents in needlepoint and embroidery.
After graduating from high school Ann worked as a court reporter in lower Manhattan.

It was at a dance in Staten Island that Ann met and fell in love with her soon to be husband, Frank.
They started their family in the Bayridge section of Brooklyn, NY and moved to West Islip in 1959.
Ann and Frank shared 59 years of marriage, raised 9 wonderful children and had 20 amazing grandchildren before the passing of Frank in 2008.

Ann loved to cook, bake, knit, crochet, garden and cherished the time she spent with her family, relatives and friends.  She was an amazing Italian cook and loved spending time with babies and children!
