Obituary of Nicholas Hadjigeorge

Hadjigeorge, Nicholas- Originally of Forest Hills and long time resident of West Islip,on May19th,2017. Loving husband of Norma for over 65 years. Devoted father of their two daughters,Helen(Michael) Balch and Christine (Roy Cotignola). Cherished grandfather of four grandsons, Joshua, Nick,Tucker and Sam Balch. Following his service in the Korean War, Nick pursued a career in aeronautical engineering with Grumman Aerospace, proudly working on the early days of the space program and on defense aircraft for the US Navy. Celebration of the liturgy of christian burial Wednesday 9:30 AM, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, LI. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Visitation Tuesday 3PM-8PM.
