Costello, Vincent J. “Vinnie”, of Oakdale, LI on June 4, 2016. Proud veteran of the United States Navy and founder of Costello’s Ace Hardware Stores. Beloved husband of Margaret H. Costello. Devoted father of Vincent (Joanne) Costello, Debbie (Peter) Kirkup, Patricia (Doug) Mudd, Michael (Karen) Costello, Laura (Phil) Lastorino, Tim Costello, Daniel (Nicole) Costello, Jaime (Ryan) Maloney, Joseph (Jamie) Costello and Robert Costello. Cherished grandfather of 25 grandchildren. Dear brother of Josephine Diehl, Dolores Blazejewski, James, Kenneth, Dennis, Robert, Michael Costello, Maureen Hernandez and the late Joan Bove, Richard and Gloria Costello. Loving uncle to his many nieces & nephews. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Wednesday 9:45AM St. Mary’s R.C. Church, East Islip, LI. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI.
