Obituary

Chester Thomas Maciaszek (Mitch) 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, in Boca Raton, Fl. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years , Colleen and missed by his children Anthony (Cheryl), Cathy (Joe), Danny (Dawn), David, Tara (Richie), Wendy(Gordon), 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Cherished by sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Chester was predeceased by his wife Elaine. He enlisted to the Army and was stationed in Germany. Chester was a member of the Sheet Metal Union Local 28 for 30 years. He will be dearly remembered by his loved ones. The wake will be Held at Chapey’s funeral home Friday, May 17th from 3:00-7:00 pm in East Islip, Ny. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 9:30 am at St. Peter’s the Apostle Church in Islip Terrace, Ny followed by the Burial at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale , NY.
