I'm not really sure where to begin, Mom. All I know is that you loved me and my little family deeply and you always made sure we knew it. I know I might've rolled my eyes when you told me for the thousandth time that Josephine has your blue eyes, but I promise it still warmed my heart. You absolutely adored your granddaughter and I promise to make sure she always knows it. It truly breaks my heart to know that this is the last photo I will ever have of you two, but I'm happy to know you at least got to meet her, love her, and see a little of her personality come through. I just want to thank you for showing me that when life knocks you down you get right back up, dust yourself off, and always make the best of what you've got. I will always admire you for that and I will always love you.
