Obituary

Rafaela Ramsaran (aka Maguie or Margaret) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 30th, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 12, 1952 in New York to Jose Palermo and Sonia Vega. She married the love of her life, Danny, on November 13, 1970. She worked as a Teachers Assistant at East Kindergarten Center, where she enjoyed making the children of Brentwood laugh with her silly faces and funny voices. Rafaela truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, planting flowers, sewing, knitting, bowling, watching novellas, and most importantly, spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her husband Danny, 3 children Bob, Janelle, and Ricky, daughter in law Michelle, son in laws Ruben and Bryan, grandchildren Alyssa, Vanessa, and Angelo, siblings Joe, Rosi, Lori and David, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be missed tremendously, and her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew and loved her.
