Dear Joe,
You will be in my memory forever. I'm grateful to have known you for all those years at Edwards AFB. I can't remember a time when you didn't smile or crack a joke when I saw you. I have such great memories, especially of our year there from 2001 to 2002....remembering our times at the Club! The last time I saw you was when I was still working at the Long Beach VA, and you were still smiling then. It was people like you that make me thankful every day for making the decision to join the USAF. Rest in Peace my friend. You will be missed.

Love and light to all of you. I have some wonderful memories of growing up with all of you on Sears Road. May Joey rest in peach.

Our deepest condolences.
Joey is just one of a kind!
Selfless, generous, kind, brave,
courageous, adventurous, and one
of the funniest people. No Fear!
His smile and twinkling blue eyes lit up the room.
He is a beautiful light and has set the bar
high as an example of truly how to live life
to the fullest. His love of travel and his many
adventures across the globe were imeasureable.
He climbed mountains, Fought in wars.
His bravery and courage had no bounds,
He had no problem running towards the burning
building or when bullets may be flying. He was the
first one there in an effort to save lives. He did not care
about sacrificing his own. Ever! His work with kids in
getting them off the streets and then rehabilitating those
kids to go on to have successful lives was a mission he lived for.
He was great at that. The stories from those kids who many are
now adults are endless. No one did that work like him.
He is a man of deep faith, truly created in God's image.
No doubt he is shaking things up in Heaven--watch out everyone!
Especially Aunt Marnie. How she loved being your Godmother!
You will live in our hearts and memories every day of our lives until
we have a chance to shine some light together on the other side.
Godspeed Joey. All our Love Forever....
Love,
Your cousins,
Stephanie & Larry

Dearest Joe,
I will never forget you. You were like a sibling to me; just like a brother from another mother. I had the fortune of knowing you in the Air Force and “on the job.” I hope you know that you touched SO MANY people in a positive way. You also slapped a few people around who deserved it, and I admired that about you; always standing for what was right and never backing down. There aren’t many like you left. My heart breaks that we won’t see each other again on this side of Heaven. But, know that I DO expect you to be there to greet me when it’s my turn to meet God.
To Joe’s family, you have my deepest sympathy. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
It’s never farewell, but, until we meet again my brother.
Respectfully,
Elena Krish
