Van Bourgondien- Frederick K. "Fred" formerly of Babylon, LI, currently resident of Naples, FL on October 26, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Ann VanBourgondien. Loving father of John Van Bourgondien (Deborah), Jim Van Bourgondien (Joan), Mary Van Bourgondien (Susan), Joe Van Bourgondien (Deborah) and Barbara Van Bourgondien. Cherished grandfather of John Jr., Fred, Lauren, Scott, Nicholas, Dana, Kristin, Julie and Peter. Adored great grandfather of Emilie, Katherine, Ella, Lula, Logan, Kellan, Khloe, Ryan, Brody, Isla, Anna, and Scarlett. Dear brother of Ria Van Went, Wilhelmina Lefeber, Florence Kok and Matthew Van Bourgondien. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Proud US Veteran having served during WWII as well as in the Dutch Army and long time Rotarian. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial, Saturday 11:15 AM, at St. Joseph's R. C. Church, Babylon, LI. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Babylon, LI.
