Obituary

Catherine R. Romito of Bay Shore, NY on November 4, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Alfred “Fred” Romito, Sr. Devoted mother of Teresa and Fred Romito. Loving mother-in-law of Susan Romito. Cherished grandmother of Mikaela. Dear sister-in-law and adored aunt to many. Catherine was a proud Proprietor of East Islip Lumber until 2022. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Bay Shore, NY on Friday at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY. Visiting Thursday 2:00PM until 4:00PM and 7:00PM until 9:00PM.
