It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of Richard John Novak, who left us on May 27,2024 at the age of 85. Richard’s legacy will be survived by his three sons, Dean, Robert, and Eric. Four grandchildren also survive. They are Emma, Rydinh, Oliver, and Thorin. Richard was born in 1939 in Brooklyn, and grew up in Huntington, NY. Richard was a charismatic man of many talents. He loved music, and in his younger days was a drummer for the Three Jays Band. He drove lots of exotic cars and motorcycles. Richard was a hard worker, problem solver, and a creative artist. Richard was best known as a custom home builder. He took great pride in his work and craftsmanship. He has built over 100 unique and amazing homes in his career. He created beautiful homes for countless families to enjoy. As we know home is where the heart is, and Richard proudly built homes with a kind and loving heart. He was loved by many. He has left us, but he will never be forgotten. May Richard rest in peace and be welcomed into the gates of heaven for eternal rest. His burial is alongside his Father, Mother, and Brother at Saint Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
