KLEIN, Sr.- John K., “Jack,” formerly of West Islip, NY, on April 6, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary Helen for 71 years. Devoted father of Margaret “Peggy” (Steve) Ferrigno, Maureen Klein, John (Nancy) Klein, Thomas (Patricia) Klein, and Patricia (Sal) Cintorino. Cherished grandfather of eleven and great-grandfather of seventeen. Veteran of the United States Navy and proud member of the Steamfitters Local Union #638 for over 75 years. Loved his dogs, the Yankees, Frank Sinatra, fishing, and the occasional trip to the casino. Took pride in all of his children’s and grandchildren’s accomplishments. Memorial visitation at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile west of the Robert Moses Cswy.), on Saturday, 1:00pm until 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
