Obituary

John M. Pfisterer passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 21, 2024 at the age of 86. He joins his deceased wife, Janis Pfisterer (née Gilmartin) whom he could not truly live without. He leaves behind his son, John H. Pfisterer, his daughter-in-law, Caroline and two grandchildren, Sarah and John Paul, to whom he was devoted; all will miss him dearly. John was born and raised in Glendale, NY, but enjoyed living in Oakdale for the past two years, a place with which he was familiar from attending his grandchildren’s soccer games, karate tournaments, track meets, school events and graduations. Rest in peace, Papa!
