MANEGGIO - Margaret of Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 25th at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Janet; Stephen and Linda; Robert and Laura. Loving grandmother of Samantha, Jared, Rachel, and Andrew. Loving great-grandmother of Maya, Stephanie, and Vincenzo. Devoted daughter of the late Molly and Andrew Vissicchio. Dearest sister of Dominic and the late Joseph and Felicia. Loving sister-in-law of Annette, Brenda, and the late Margaret and the late Bill. Loving godmother of Andrew (Drew) Palombella, Joseph Vissicchio and Bill Giovino. Adored by her best friend Mary Giovino and her husband, Sam. Loved by her caregivers: Joan Whyte, Gladys Cruz, and Rosemary Maury. Cherished by all her family and friends. The family will receive family and friends Sunday, October 8th from 3 pm – 5pm and 7pm to 9:30 pm, at the Chapey Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road Bethpage, NY 11714. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 9th at 10:30 am at St. James Church, 80 Hicksville Road, Seaford, NY 11783 followed by the burial at the Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792.
