Obituary

John Michael Sullivan was an amazing father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He led a selfless life. He gave friendship, compassion and love to everyone he knew. John served in the Korean War. He worked at the Long Island Lighting Company for 45 years. John was a member of the Hibernian Festival Singers as well as the Knights of Columbus. Living on Long Island he had a passion for boating as well as the outdoors. He was also an avid hunter and runner. John always had a kind and encouraging word to share. He was a friendly, loyal, loving and wonderful person. John is survived by his wife Kathleen, brother Tommy and sister Helen. As well as his daughters Jeanette, Margaret, Kathleen, and Michelle. His grandchildren Jonathan, Jacki, Ryan, Kerri, Justin, Aaron, Patrick, Devin, Quintin, Andrew and Max. He is predeceased by his son John and first wife Jeanette.
