Obituary

Kathleen M. Hansen of Massapequa Park passed away peacefully on December 31, 2022, at home. Kathleen was welcomed at heaven's gate by parents Eugene and Dorothy, and stepdad Bob Pollack, and brothers Christopher & Eugene, she is survived by her sisters Carol and Irene (Bill), and brother Edward, and niece Nicole. She will also be missed by her extended family, Carol Fitzsimmons, Bob Pollack and Joanne Shovelin, and her cat "Z". Kathleen was a kind and loving (and Super Fun!!) soul, and will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Heaven got a super angel. Heaven will never be the same!!

I was shocked to hear of my friend Kathleen passing We grew up together in Massapequa our moms were best friends, always good times May she rest easy now with her mom and brothers. We cannot see the twinkling star Upon a cloudy night But dont despair. They are there shining bold and bright our eyes cannot see heaven It is somewhere far away And when we need to talk to God who we cant see we pray. We cannot see the ones we love when from us they have gone Yet though we grieve we believe in joy they yet live on......
