Obituary

Albert F. Gallo July 9, 1923 - December 20, 2022 Albert was a bright soul who cheered up any room he was in. His presence resonated with everyone he encountered long after he had left. He was a strong man with a deep love for his family and friends. He was one of eight children from Sicilian immigrant parents and was born in New York City. He proudly served three years for the United States Army during WW2 in the battle of Iwo Jima. His career as a financial advisor spanned 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Angela Gallo; his children and their spouses, Richard and Kathleen Gallo; Frank Gallo, Michael, and Marianne Gallo; and Barbara and James Hayden; and his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4-8 on Wednesday, December 28, at Chapey & Sons Funeral Home in Bethpage. Funeral Mass will occur at 10:30 on Thursday, December 28, at St. James Church in Seaford.
