Obituary

Louise Mangano was born July 23, 1924 in Jamaica, Queens. She was one of 6 children. She lived with her family above a fruit and vegetable store. As a little girl, Louise loved to dance, sing and roller skate. She loved animals and babies! She married the love of her life, Charles Mangano, when she was only 19 years old and lived with him on an army base during her new husbands budding military career. It was due to her encouragement and support that her husband became a major in the US army air corps. Louise developed a deep love for God and grew in her Catholic faith. Our Lord and His mother, Mary were so dear to her. She had 4 children and moved to Suffolk county where they remained for the rest of their lives. Louise and her husband Charles we’re married for 78 1/2 years when her husband passed away only 5 months ago. Louise was an extremely devoted mother and wife. She leaves behind her 4 children, 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 7 step- great grandchildren. Our mother loved us so very much. No sacrifice was too deep. No distance was too far to travel, no price was too much to be with us. Her family professes our thanks to our dear mother for the faith she taught us in all that she said and did. We rejoice in her life in paradise, we will carry her in our hearts forever.
