Obituary

William (Bill) M. Doran III of BayShore, NY, formerly of New Hyde Park, NY, passed on November 11, 2022. He was a beloved husband of Eileen Kelly Doran and devoted father to Laura (Scott) Wexelbaum, Jennifer (Timothy) Hackford and Kristin (Greggory) Lewis. He was predeceased by Kelly (John) McNulty and Keith Doran. Cherished grandfather of 13; Ryan and Erin McNulty, Connor, Raymond Joseph and Alexis Doran, Carter and Kinsley Wexelbaum, Julia, Liam, Aiden and Madelyn Hackford, Emily and Trey Lewis. Bill is survived by his siblings; Mary Thompson, Thomas Doran, Noreen Willgoos and Joanne Doran. He was predeceased by his brother, Steven and sister, Jean. He was a respected insurance underwriter, an avid golfer, enjoyed sporting events and spending time with family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by many. Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, LI. Visitation Tuesday 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Wednesday 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Celebration of the Liturgy of Chrisitan Burial Thursday 9:45 AM at St. Patricks R.C. Church, Bay Shore, LI. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or The Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
