Obituary

On October 11th, 2022, Elizabeth Jongbloed, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at age 92. Elizabeth, fondly known as Betty, was one of the most affectionate and gentle souls placed on this earth. Everyone who knew her, even briefly, admired her for her pure heart and generous nature. Betty kept a beautiful home full of boundless love, as she was always there to support and care for her family. She cherished each moment with her loved ones and knew how to appreciate the little things in life. Like the hearth in a home, all were drawn to Betty for her warmth. You could always come to her for a kind word, a gentle touch, and a strong, belly laugh. She is survived by her beloved husband, Andrew, who she was married to for 73 devoted years. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Deborah and (predeceased) Michael, Andrea and Stephan, and Andrew and Tracy. As well as her seven cherished grandchildren with their significant others, Stephan and Heather, Daniel and Samantha, Kenneth and Krystina, Michael and Kaitlyn, Elizabeth and Anthony, Ashley and Ruben, and Andrew and Brianna. She is also survived by her dear sisters Georgette and (predeceased) Dorothy, and adored nieces and nephews Kenneth, Barbara, and Kathy. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
