Obituary

Agnes Schinella, 96, passed away on the Feast of the Assumption, 8/15/2022, with her son and daughter by her side. Agnes was born on 12/21/1925 in NYC to Lorenzo & Grazia Messana. She married the late Roger L. Schinella in 1948. Agnes is survived by her son Edward Schinella (Bonnie) of Sayville and daughter Laura Cassell (Gerald) of Brightwaters. She is also survived by four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband, Roger, in 2000 and her dear son, Roger, in 2019. Agnes was a gifted cook who seasoned every meal with love, warmth and hospitality. She lived a life of faith and was fiercely devoted to her family and friends. Her gentle spirit and loving kindness will be missed.
