Obituary

"Douglas Niblock, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2022. Doug was a good hearted man who would do anything for his family. He was always making people laugh whether he meant to or not. He loved going into work everyday and was a lifetime member of the Steamfitters Union, Local 638. He loved the simple things: early morning crossword puzzles listening to the radio, sitting in the sun in his vegetable garden, and being by the water. Doug will be missed by all who knew him. Doug is predeceased by his parents, Horace and Pearl Niblock, and his brothers, Kenny and Dale. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anita, his children Debbie (Eddie) McLaughlin, and Douglas (Janine) Niblock, his grandchildren Edward, Dylan, Tristan, Meghan, Sidney, Aidan, Chris, Kate, Patrick, and Douglas as well as 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Special thank you to the steamfitters union and to the nurses and aides who helped care for him."
