Obituary

Gabriel J Fava Sr, 92, passed away March 25, 2022. He was healthy and energetic and living his adventurous, happy life until he suffered an acute brain aneurysm on March 12th. His family remained by his side throughout his time in the hospital. He was born in Manhattan then married Amy and moved to Long Island where they raised their four children. He was a prominent Medical Lab Director with multiple offices; with his Babylon office being the most well known. His patients adored him. He was always caring and kind. His wife Amy passed away in 1993. He is survived by his son Gabriel Sr and wife Jean, his daughter Joan and husband John, his daughter Christine and husband Anthony, his son Robert and his grandchildren Julie, Amy and husband Kevin, Ryan, Nicholas, Michael, Brianna and Anthony and his great grandchildren Elliott and Max. He is also survived by companion Katherine Gavin. He will be greatly missed by all. May his memories last forever and his legacy live on.
