Obituary

Aida Iris Noonan of Oceanside, LI, formerly of Brentwood, LI on December 25, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John Noonan. Devoted mother of Doreen (Jeff) Shephard, Sandra (Thomas) Brew and John C. (Megan) Noonan. Cherished grandmother of Sydney Shephard, Zachary Shephard, Jessica Brew and Catherine Brew. Aida was a longtime volunteer at Brentwood’s Pronto. She was an avid scrabble player, loved flowers, fashion, dancing and Latin music. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s R.C. Church, Brentwood, LI, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM.
