Obituary

Beloved husband and best friend to his loving wife of 35 years Sandra Ayala. Devoted and loving father to Andrew, Jeremy, and Stephanie. Cherished son to Jenny and of the late Pedro Ayala. Dear brother of Sandra Templeton (Ronnie), Pedro Ayala, Jolie Ayala, Pricilla Dellelo(Tommy). He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. George was raised in Brooklyn, NY where he developed a love for handball, history, and hard knocks. It’s there that he also fell in love with his wife at the local bowling alley, and later had 3 beautiful children together. He went on to open multiple businesses and employ dozens of people in midtown Manhattan. After the financial crisis, he consolidated and became a one man business where he supported his family for years. Later on he worked at Garden OBGYN where he was loved and respected by all of his co workers. In his free time George loved to ride his bike, go bowling, swim in the ocean, go fishing, cook for others and go on adventures with his wife Sandy. No destination too far, no activity left undone. He was known for his warming smile, corny dad jokes, tight hugs, never ending words of wisdom, and being the life of the party. Whether you were a family member or complete stranger, you got the same version of George; a beautiful combination of George the leader, the lover, the listener, the comedian, the protector, the friend. He will be truly missed by everyone who’s life he touched. Contributions to be made in lieu of flowers to Animal Rescue Association, because of his deep love for all animals.
