Obituary

ROBERT M. PFALTZ, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 21st, 2021, after eighty-seven years on this earth. He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-one years, Patricia, as well as his dear sister, Dorothy Soltys. He is also survived by his son, Scott, daughter-in law, Marianne, and daughter, Kathleen. He leaves behind six grandchildren; Jacqueline and Kaitlyn Pfaltz, Spencer, Courtney, Derek and Kyle Sherry. Robert was born in Brooklyn on December 4th, 1933. He served in the army from 1955-1957, and was a Fourth-Degree Knight in his local chapter of the Knights of Columbus, of which he was a member for fifty-nine years. He was an avid bowler and a skilled cornhole player, and he kept himself sharp by working on endless crossword puzzles. He sang bass in the church choir. He loved to complain about our New York football teams, almost as much as he loved to cheer on our New York baseball teams. He was always quick to a joke, and was rarely ever heard not whistling a tune or sharing his wit. He was, and continues to be, a light in the lives of all who knew him. We know he will continue to keep up the good work! He will be laid out at Chapey and Sons Funeral Home on Friday, April 23rd, from 4-8p.m. A funeral mass will be held the following day at Saint James Catholic Church, starting at 9:30 a.m.
